		<description>is the excitement of what weird wares are for sale,  in the owner operated shops gone?   without going into the pros and cons of streamlining supply chains, standardization of product distribution, and many other issues.  I miss the poorly organized shop with the 65 year old chain smoking immigrant who has the entire store inventory and pricing memorized-  it just made buying shit more fun!</description>

It sounds like you are suggesting that as a system becomes more complex it must change, and how it changes will always be a highly contested subject.  I sure do miss the way back days of burning man, before the man was on a pedastool, but I still go, and participate while fantasizing about the next big thing that has not yet "sold out"</description>
